Fran Drescher Saturday Night Fever

You’ve gotta start somewhere when it comes to film and television. For Fran Drescher the starting point in television was Summer of Fear; of greater note, however, is the fact that her movie career began in the John Travolta hit Saturday Night Fever.
Drescher gets a fairly small role in her debut as Connie, one of the girls in the discotheque that Tony (John Travolta) frequents. They share a bit of witty back and forth sexual flirting that has become one of the movie’s more memorable quips:
Connie: So, are you as good in bed as you are on that dance floor?
Tony: I’ll tell you something. If YOU’RE as good in bed as YOU are on the dance floor, then you’re one lousy fuck.
Connie: Then how come they always send me flowers the next morning?
Tony: ‘Cause most guys don’t know a good fuck when they’ve had one.
Not Drescher’s most glorified scene, but it was enough to get her cast in more pictures. And, well, that certainly worked out well for her in the end.
